A crianza red, the result of a collaboration between 2 wineries: Bodegues Ribas and Vins Miquel Gelabert. Nowadays, only our winery makes this wine from native grape varieties grown exclusively in our vineyards. Its nice bouquet remembers the magic sunsets in the island of Mallorca.
Grape varieties: Callet, Manto Negro, Fogoneu and Gorgollassa (everything from old vines).
Growing system: “En vaso” bush training and espalier training.
Vineyard location: District of Manacor and Felanitx
Designation: D.O.P. Pla i Llevant- Mallorca
Type of wine: Red “Crianza”
Alcohol content: 13.5-14 % vol.
Fermentation: Temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing: 12 months in French and American (new) oak barrels, followed by bottle ageing.
Tasting notes: Medium intensity, red hue with a purple rim. Complex aromas reminiscent of jams, wild fruits, especially blackberry, as well as coffee, cocoa, aromas of leather, toast and a mixture of spices. On the palate, the wine is silky and elegant, full bodied, round and balanced with a long aftertaste reminiscent of nuts and Mediterranean herbs.
Food pairing: pairs well with stews, red meat casseroles, grilled meat and matured cheeses.
Serving temperature: between 18- 20 ºC

Currently, eleven small estates make up the 9 hectares of vineyards that produce the grapes for our wines. Most of them are located in the municipality of Manacor and some in Felanitx and Petra, and they are all registered in D.O.P. Pla i Llevant de Mallorca.
We grow all the grapes we produce and do not buy grapes from third parties, thus controlling the entire production process.
