Type of wine: “Crianza” red.
Alcohol content: 13.5- 14 % vol.
Fermentation: Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and malolactic fermentation in barrel.
Ageing: 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by ageing in bottle.
Tasting Notes: Clean and bright, well-coloured, intense red hue with ruby tint. Aromas of ripe fruits (plums, blackberries, etc..) along with the nice roasted oak aromas derived from barrel ageing. On the palate, the wine is smooth, well-balanced, with an excellent frame, meaty body and the abundant tannins that provide great ageing potential.
Food pairing: ideal with red meat, game stews, and strong and cured cheeses.
Serving Temperature: between 18 – 19 ºC.
